Day 1: LEH ARRIVAL – IN AND AROUND
Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. After welcome drink take complete rest for acclimatization to the height altitude of Leh (3500 mtrs. Later by afternoon out for city tour for an orientation walk in the markets‚ followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa‚ Leh palace, in the evening Back to hotel & dinner and overnight in the Hotel.
Day 2: LEH - SANGAM – HALL OF FAME – LEH
Today after breakfast leave for half day excursion to Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill & Sangam View where Indus & Zanskar river meet. Afternoon you would be driven back to hotel. In the evening enjoy a sunset at Shanti Stupa. Night stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 3: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,380 FT.
After breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.
Day 4: NUBRA VALLEY – LEH
Morning after breakfast checkout from the camp/Hotel, here in Hunder you will have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon. Later drive to Deskit (Headquarters of Nubra), you can explore the local market of Deskit for shopping and have and idea of the local life there, have a visit to Deskit Monastery, post lunch drive back to Leh enjoying the view of Cold desert. In the evening check in to Leh hotel & dinner & overnight in the hotel.
Day 5: LEH TO PANGONG 13,930 FT.
Today after breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east to the Leh after crossing Changla Pass (17500ft) the second highest motor-able road in the world. and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its colour 4 – 5 times a day. After crossing the pass halt for lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. Overnight in the camp/ Hotel in Pangong
Day 6: PANGONG TO LEH
This day get up early morning and explore the beauty of Pangong lake, have your breakfast in the hotel/ camp and drive back to Leh, enroute visit Hemis, Thiksay & Shey Monastery, in the evening check in to your Leh hotel and dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 7: LEH DEPARTURE
This day have your breakfast and checkout from the hotel and drive back to Leh Airport for your return journey. We bring to an end a beautiful trip taking with us memories worth a lifetime and friendships to cherish forever!
